Hello and welcome to our home page. This website is all about our Family Tree which has been researched by Dorothy Commentz who resides in the the Good Ol' U.S. of A. There have been a few inputs from other sources but the Lions share of the work has been done by Dorothy.We have what we know about our Family Tree here, including links to some old and interesting photos, so please, take a look, you might be on it or you might be related to somebody that is, and if you are then please contact me and give as much information as you can. I have had to make a few deletions and adjustments as some members of our 'Tree' have made it plain that they do not wish to have their names displayed on the Internet which I totally understand. For years I've wondered about my ancestors who they were where they lived etc.. and never got around to doing anything about it, then out of the blue an Aunt telephoned me asking details of my wife and children, naturally I wanted to know why and was told that there is this lady in America who has been researching our line and she had a 'tree'. I contacted Dorothy and she sent me a book she had written which is wonderfully descriptive of her younger days and the members of her family that she could remember and also the many years and the journeys across the Atlantic to find out about, and see people who are related. There are also photographs which are absolutely fascinating.

I cannot thank her enough for the information supplied on this website, it's a wonderful thing to be able to pass on to our children.
